JUST A FEW WORDS
About ITSA Biennial Conference
8th ITSA Biennial Conference is a forum for exchanging research ideas and practices in tourism.
This is the second time that the conference will be held in Indonesia and thus it provides a unique opportunity to meet, and develop networks with academics and researchers from around the world. This event is co-hosted and organized by Universitas Pancasila and James Cook University Singapore.
With delegates from many countries gathering and discussing topics within the theme of Culture, People, and Technology – the Driving Forces for Tourism Cities, this is your best opportunity to present your work, distribute information, and meet with academics and researchers with similar or various research interests.
The conference will be held in hybrid format (on site and on line). We are aware of the impact of COVID-19 on travel, accommodation and meeting, and we want to make sure every participant will benefit from the conference. Therefore, we will stream the opening and panel sessions of keynote and invited speakers online, and organize online parallel sessions. For on site participation in Jakarta, we will follow all official requirements and health protocols with care to ensure a safe and enjoyable conference.
The main conference in Jakarta will be followed by Singapore Paper Hackathon on December 5, 2020 (free for interested online participants).
